My name is Julius Stopforth, I was born in Canada and have lived the majority of my life in South Africa.

I am currently pursuing an MSc Computer Science degree at the University of Cape Town with a focus on robust evaluation and reporting for stochastic continuous control problems in deep reinforcement learning. Previously, I have received both my BSc (Hons) and BSc Computer Science in 2017 and 2016 respectively.

My interests include artificial intelligence, scientific computing, and building personal tools. I thoroughly enjoy learning new things, and I am constantly fascinated by novel technologies and ideas. I strongly believe that science is improved through diversity and inter-disciplinary study.

My hobbies include surfing, rock climbing, juggling, and many more.

I have also been a Dungeon Master for a few years and enjoy writing/designing the campaign for my players.
